Hello again fellow aviators! Let’s take a trip behind the scenes…building #FreedomFox started with wishful thinking in the form of a question, “What if we built our first plane with aviation video star Trent Palmer?” To our surprise, that quickly became a reality, and with a mind full of confidence, I fearlessly wondered if the good vibes would strike again. So I asked myself, “What if the infamous modder GotGravel did the tuning alongside Trent?”
With over 90,000 downloads across his library of mods on FlightSim.to alone, it’s tough to deny that the name GotGravel is synonymous with bush flying in-sim.
His STOL Realism Mod for the default Savage Carbon Cub set the bar for the feel of a backcountry flyer. Within the limits of a default aircraft, he delivered a masterpiece; imagine fully cooperating with the developers.
Today, we’re excited to announce that GotGravel has been locked in a room with Trent Palmer to ensure the cub killer will live up to its name. What you’ll experience in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is sure to be as real as it gets. Do I even need to keep writing??? //e
